Assignment of Property

Assignment of Property occurs when the original purchaser (assignor) sells a property to a new purchaser (assignee) and assignment occurs before the property is completed by a developer. During the transfer, the assignee assumes all obligation and duties of the assignor from the original agreement of purchase and sale. The assignee becomes the owner of the property once the property is completed, until then the legal owner would still be the developer.
